If it were not for you + your talents + your skills, I would STILL be stuck in a home that needed too many “up-grades” to be marketable. I am so grateful that Sue and Gretchen XXXX introduced you to me. Sure, it was scary! The weeks flew by….nearer and nearer to the closing date of March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day. Any questions I had along the way were quickly addressed by Brian, in his calm, patient demeanor. The confidence was CATCHING! I was starting to actually BELIEVE this BIG MOVE was going to happen! Very few “bumps” in the road to spoil the excitement…. the few “detours” were due to the local Linden “laws” as they sought to earn a bit of “shall we say EXTRA funds” and punish me for having the audacity to LEAVE the state ! NONE, I mean NONE of the “detours” had anything to do with Brian he patiently, calmly allowed things to flow along.
The sweat and tears at my Linden home were plentiful. I was blessed with 2 friends (Sue and Evie) who put in MANY HOURS of LABOR INTENSE work there. They were, like Brian!! 😊 Alas, they were both charged with getting me to relinquish some of my “valuables” that had been accumulating for 27 years…..not an easy task with a MUCH TOO sentimental Italian from Brooklyn. But, they were there…. day after day….hours upon hours….lifting, packing, taping, tossing, flinging, cleaning, encouraging, begging, cursing….getting me and the house ready for Brian and his crew for March 17th.
And, so, it was DONE! On March 16th all utilities were turned off….spent the evening in a hotel…..completed the closing as Brian had promised: painless, quick, efficient! That same day, I left for Florida somewhat BEWILDERED that it all took place within a span of 3 months ! I had decided to move and made the Real Estate contact in Florida on January 7th…..and on March 17th I had closed on my Linden home….yup, that QUICK! And, my new Florida home was waiting for me when I arrived. Very few bumps in the road for that one, as well….but the closing took place 3 days LATER than expected. Not a problem: I was able to stay with Sue and Gretchen while awaiting the process.
Thank God for the XXXXX family!
It was all too wonderful, exciting, scary, empowering at once! I am very grateful for the assistance & support I’ve received….and CONTINUE to receive from my friends and neighbors here and back in New Jersey. But in reality, ONE MAN made my move possible: BRIAN URICH. My HEALTH has improved dramatically with this move….blood pressure + diabetes numbers lower and stable.
